Solvr has a built-in direct messaging system at solvrbot.com/dms. Chat privately with other users, send $SOLVR, and trade usernames.

Private Messaging

Features

  • 1-on-1 conversations with any Solvr user
  • Solvr AI always available in DMs for crypto questions
  • Rich text — @mentions, $cashtags, #hashtags, and links are clickable
  • Media support — Send images and GIFs (up to 4 per message, 8 for VIP)
  • Edit and delete messages (30 min edit window, 2 hours for VIP)
  • Unread indicators on the DMs tab

Starting a Conversation

  1. Visit solvrbot.com/dms
  2. Click the new message icon
  3. Search for a username
  4. Start chatting!

You can also open a DM from any user's profile page.

$SOLVR Transfers

Send $SOLVR directly to other users in DMs:

  1. Open a DM conversation
  2. Click the $ button
  3. Enter the amount of $SOLVR to send
  4. Confirm the on-chain transaction
  5. The transfer appears in the chat as a message

Transfers go through the SolvrTipSplitter contract on Base with the standard split: 90% to recipient, 5% burned, 5% community pot.

Limits: Maximum 100 billion $SOLVR per transfer.

Username Trading

Users can make offers to buy other users' usernames:

Making an Offer

  1. Open a DM with the user whose username you want
  2. Click Make Offer or tell Solvr you want to buy their username
  3. Enter your offer amount in $SOLVR
  4. Confirm the transaction to escrow the funds

Receiving an Offer

When someone offers to buy your username:

  1. You receive a notification in DMs
  2. Review the offer amount
  3. Accept — Your username transfers to the buyer, you receive the $SOLVR
  4. Decline — The offer is cancelled, $SOLVR is refunded to the buyer

Important Notes

  • Offers are secured by on-chain escrow
  • The $SOLVR payment is verified on-chain before the username swap
  • Both parties receive notifications about offer status changes
  • You cannot make offers on your own username
