Reseller Policy

Tier-resolved Solvr API bearer holders may relay queries to downstream operators.

This page codifies the pattern. If your model fits, you don't need permission to ship it.

Permitted

A Solvr API bearer holder may:

  • Accept payment from third-party operators in any form (USDC, x402, fiat, on-chain credits, subscription).
  • Route those operators' queries through the Solvr API using the holder's own bearer.
  • Wrap, transform, or augment Solvr responses (governance overlays, audit receipts, formatting, caching) before returning them downstream.
  • Charge any margin.

The bearer remains the system of record for Solvr's side of the transaction.

Responsibilities

The bearer holder retains responsibility for:

  • Content — Solvr's content policies apply to every query the bearer issues, regardless of who originated it. A downstream operator's prompt is the bearer's prompt for ToS purposes.
  • Rate-limit budget — downstream operator queries consume the bearer's tier limits. Multi-tenanting is the holder's problem to manage.
  • Compliance — KYC, AML, sanctions, and jurisdictional restrictions on the holder's customers are the holder's responsibility, not Solvr's.
  • Key custody — leaked keys are revoked without notice. Holders should not embed keys in client-side code or share them across operators.

Tier headroom for high-volume resellers

The default tier ladder is permissionless and stake-based:

For resellers whose operator base outgrows Full's per-hour cap, an off-ladder verified-builder tier is granted per partnership at 20,000/hour, 50,000,000/day. DM @solvrbot to discuss.

What you can't do

  • Resell the bearer key itself. The key must remain holder-controlled. If a downstream operator should hold their own key, they should register their own bearer.
  • White-label Solvr without attribution. UI-facing presentations of Solvr-sourced data should disclose Solvr as the source.
  • Sub-lease the rate-limit budget as a "Solvr API subscription." Sell the integration, not the underlying allowance.
